“Answer Team 341B reporting for duty, sir!” -Beep, Ask the Storybots

Beep is the main protagonist in the Storybots franchise. She is the leader in Answer Team 341-B.

Character Description[]

“Beep Boppalot is the unofficial leader of Team 341-B. She brings passion, curiosity, intuition and intelligence to each and every assignment. For Beep, knowledge is not only power -- it's a super power for making the world a better place. In addition to being highly skilled, Beep is also unshakably positive and has the ability to find the silver lining in any cloud.”

Appearance[]

Beep has a green body, amber limbs, grey hands, black cartoonish eyes, dark green eyebrows, and red wheels. She is the average height and width of a Storybot.

In her Season 1 3D model of Ask the Storybots, she appeared to have orange wheels instead of red. This was then fixed in the renewed Season 2 3D models in order to match more with the 2D counterparts. Her 3D model used in the Behavior songs also showed orange wheels.

Personality[]

Beep is a clever Storybot with a lot of intentions and ideas, especially towards her friends. She loves answering questions for kids and going on adventures with her team. According to the official Storybots bible, Beep appears to be the one Storybot in her team who does not have an extreme personality, while the other four did. This made Beep step up to lead the team, guiding them each and every step of the way while still having fun (this does not mean that the others are not important — all members of 341-B are equally important!). It is also stated as a “wee little Storybot”, she was a very curious child, questioning everything and anything that surrounds her. To this day, she still carries that same curiosity along with the passion to find the answer to any question.

Despite her intelligence and kindness, Beep is shown to occasionally get mad or annoyed by others, in spite of her description stating she was “unshakably positive”. She can be annoyed when some people or Storybot gets on her nerves, particularly Hub and Bub so much so that she even seems to recognize what kind of pranks they do. Bing can also occasionally strike the wrong chord in Beep from time to time, whether if its pestering her many times with the phrase “Are we there yet?” or not focusing on their job. Though Beep might lash out, she still cares about her coworkers and is aware of her surroundings and try not to get too mad. The only time she was visibly mad was in the Answer Time episode Multiplication, where no Storybots were seen and she was alone in the depths of the Archive Department.

She is really friendly, gentle, good spirited and she always makes sure that her team should get on track. She comforts anyone like Bo and her fear of heights  When the team sometimes gets confused, she will give her initiation of the answer.
